Stenotarsus cuprivestis Gorham (1890:139)

Diagnosis. Length 4.0– 4.2 mm; width 2.5–2.8 mm. Body entirely red­orange, elongate ( Fig. 8 View Figs ). Named for the color of the vestiture, yet no difference in color from that of many other species was noted. The male available for study is damaged; no sexual dimorphism was found.

Remarks. Some specimens in the type series were from Panama. A male and female from Panama (FSCA) were studied.
