Measurement. Male: 3.50–3.70mm.
Material examined. 1♂, Pakistan, Punjab, Murree Hills, 2291m, 2016, coll. Hassan Naveed (holotype) . 1♂, Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Rawalakot City, 1638m, July 2017, coll. Remarks. This species resembles Stirellus convexus Thomson but differs in having the male pygofer side with macrosetae dorsally, in the style shape and in having the aedeagal shaft with a slight dorsal expansion. This species is also close to Stirellus multipunctatus Duan, Webb & Zhang but can be easily distinguished by the orange-red or brownish red stripes on the head interrupted medially, and by the pygofer and aedeagus shape.
