( Figs 164–175 View FIGURES 164 – 169 View FIGURES 170 – 175 )

Diagnosis. Related to T. inpa Silva-Neto et al. , and T. fapeam Silva-Neto et al. , differing from them in details of the hypandrium ( Fig. 168 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ) and phallosome ( Fig. 169 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ). Posterior endophallic sclerites independent, near the distal ends of the external parameres, each with a large proximal tooth on inner border, and three distal teeth; anterior endophallic sclerites with outer arms stout, bow-shaped, and inner arms triangular, anteriorly crenulate; mesal sclerite deeply concave in the middle, with anterior arms acuminate and posterior arms distally forked ( Fig. 169 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ).

Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale brown. Compound eyes brown; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Head pattern ( Fig. 166 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ); postclypeus with small brown spots; anteclypeus, labrum, genae, antennae and maxillary palps pale brown, Mx4 dark brown distally. Thorax pale brown, with tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown, pleura with some cream spots. Tibiae and tarsi pale brown, coxae and trochanters cream, femora cream proximally and pale brown distally. Forewings ( Fig. 164 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ) with pale brown band proximally on pterostigma; a marginal band from R2+3 to Cu1a; cu1 brown, brown spots at vein ends. Hindwings ( Fig. 165 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ) mostly hyaline. Abdomen pale brown, with subcuticular pale brown spots in sternites and part of tergites. Hypandrium, clunium, epiproct and paraprocts pale brown, with small subcuticular areas pale brown. Phallosome dark brown.

Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 166 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ): H/MxW: 1.47; H/D: 2.59, IO/MxW: 0.75, MxW/IO: 2.00. Vertex slightly above the level of the compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with six denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.27; Mx4/Mx3: 2.85. Forewings ( Fig. 164 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ): L/W: 2.42, pterostigma: lp/wp: 3.58; areola postica elongate, slanted posteriorly, la/ha: 1.64. Hindwings ( Fig. 165 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ): l/w: 2.84. Central sclerite of hypandrium wide, straight anteriorly ( Fig. 168 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ), with postero-lateral processes blunt ended. Phallosome V-shaped anteriorly ( Fig. 169 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ), external parameres membranous, distally rounded and sclerotized, with row of small teeth on outer border; inner border with small sclerotized process. Paraprocts broad, oval ( Fig. 167 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ), with posterior margin broadly rounded, with abundant medium and short sized setae in the posterior third and distal border, a macroseta near each sensory field, other setae as illustrated; sensory fields with 26 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct semioval ( Fig. 167 View FIGURES 164 – 169 ), anteriorly convex, with three mesal setae, one to two lateral macrosetae, posterior border with a field of microsetae and 4–5 medium sized setae.
