REMARKS: This is the first record from the Adriatic Sea. However, identification is uncertain and in need of confirmation. This species is distributed along the Atlantic coast of central Africa ( Togo, the type locality, and Ivory Coast) ( Rullier 1965; Intes & Le Loeuff 1975).
