Diagnosis. Males of N. macleayi comb. nov. are distinguished from those of the remaining species of the genus by the eRTA cylindrical, arising retro-proximally from tibia, by the U-shaped border of dRTA and vRTA, in ventral view, and by the elf hat shaped TBC ( Fig. 100 View FIGURES 99 − 105 ). Females are distinguished by the median septum with posterior margin rebordered ( Fig. 103 View FIGURES 99 − 105 ) and by the spermathecae with an anterior twist and five additional twists and by the glandular projections very long, more than five times longer than wide ( Figs 104−105 View FIGURES 99 − 105 ).

Description. Male (NMNH): Prosoma pale orange with black margins and thin black lines along lateral margins of cephalic region and thoracic striae. Fovea and eye borders black. Chelicerae, legs and pedipalps pale orange. Sternum pale yellow with very slightly darker margins. Endites pale yellow. Labium orange. Opisthosoma cream colored; dorsally with black pattern of irregular marks on anterior half and chevron-like marks on posterior half; ventrally with few black spots. Total length 5.9. Prosoma: 2.9 long, 2.7 wide. Opisthosoma: 2.7 long, 1.9 wide. Eyes: diameters: 0.20, 0.16, 0.12, 0.18; interdistances: 0.14, 0.06, 0.26, 0 20, 0.10, 0.06. Palp: VTA small, situated medially; tegular protrusion arising from tegulum at 5:30 o’clock position; median apophysis arising from tegulum at 2 o’clock position; conductor distally widened; embolus distally laminar and twisted, arising from tegulum at 7:30 o’clock position; TBE single with dorsal groove, flanked by short distal keel, to accommodate the embolus ( Figs 99−102 View FIGURES 99 − 105 ).

Female (MCZ 26452, allotype): Coloration pattern as in male. Total length 10.0. Prosoma: 3.7 long, 3.3 wide. Opisthosoma: 6.3 long, 4.0 wide.
