Type locality: Maysan Province: [MA1] ( Brölemann 1922) .

Previous records. Type locality only.

Distribution. Iraq only.

Remarks. Described based on a sole ♂ and two immature specimens (♂ and ♀). Its taxonomic status has never been revised.

L. jugorum Attems, 1904 was synonymized under L. giganteus Sseliwanoff, 1881 by Eason (1986).
