Distribution. A Turano-Mediterranean species (Simaiakis et al. 2013; Zarei et al. 2020; Dyachkov 2022b).
Remarks. According to illustrations by Al-Doori et al. (2020: Plate 6), specimens identified as
Haplophilus souletinus (Brolemann, 1907) belong to B. signata .
