Isometopus sudanicus new name

Description

Isometopus longirostris Akingbohungbe was described as new from the Sudan by me in 1996, but I was unaware of the paper by Josifov (1993) in which he described Isometopus longirostris as a new species from Bulgaria. Inadvertently therefore, a homonymy had been created and, a new name must be proposed for the species from the Sudan. Accordingly, Isometopus sudanicus is hereby proposed as a replacement name. Each species is quite distinctive and not synonymous, I. sudanicus belonging in the subgenus Jehania Distant while I. longirostris Josifov belongs in Isometopus sensu stricto as characterized in my 1996 paper referred to above.
