Leaves palmate, double or triple divided into narrow segments. Flowers pink, laciniate.
Note: —A specimen of this remarkable plant, which is only known from culture and escaped in nature is conserved in P (P04461514), collected as R. pinnatus . On the label is, next to this name, only written: ‘l. Cap. b: sp:’. It is from the herbarium of J.M.C. de Tristan (1776–1861), so it will have been collected in the first half of the nineteenth century. No other specimen of this species was found in South Africa.
