M a t e r i a l. Two shoot fragments from layer GLA10
(MGPT-PU141083).
D e s c r i p t i o n. Fragments of plagiotropic leafy shoots with dimorphic scale leaves in whorls of four, with shallow longitudinal furrows on the broad facial leaves. Lateral leaves narrow and indistinct at the base.
R e m a r k s. Comparable and more abundant shoot fragments in association with cones are reported from the post-evaporitic Messinian of a neighbouring locality ( Niccolini et al. 2022).
