Type species: Metrioxena decisa Pascoe, 1885 View in CoL

Description. Body yellow-brown, with fine pubescence. Rostrum slightly curved, slightly shorter than pronotum, flattened at middle, with two longitudinal carinae, with long erect yellow setae ventrally in males; slightly longer than pronotum, narrow, subcylindrical, widened at apex, without carinae and setae ventrally in females. Antennae inserted near rostrum basis ventrally. Forehead flattened. Eyes large, convex. Head behind eyes with constriction. Temples short. Antennae almost reaching pronotal base. First segment of antennal club elongated. Pronotum campaniform, weakly convex, with fife longitudinal carinae, with teeth on sides, densely punctate. Scutellum almost pentagonal. Elytra suboval, with slightly smoothed humeri. Elytral disc without carinae and striae, densely punctate. Apex of elytra without tooth. Metepisternum narrow. Abdomen flat. First ventrite elongated. Legs quite long. Femora widened, with teeth. Profemora strongly widened. Tibiae short and wide. Tarsi wide.

Comparison. The new genus differs from the genus Vladimirixena in the femora with tooth and the elytra lacking longitudinal carinae.

Composition. Pseudometrioxena decisa (Pascoe, 1885) , comb. nov., P. discoidalis ( Heller, 1915) , comb. nov., P. marginella ( Heller, 1915) , comb. nov. belong to this genus.

Modern distribution. Malaysia ( Malacca), Indonesia (Sumatra and Timor), Philippines.
