Syntype: 1 (slide) Canada. [Northwest Territories], Yellowknife, 332, [11–21.vii.] 1948, [in dense Equisetum and Carex vegetation on dug out peaty soil in the outskirts of the wood, moist], M. Hammer (CNC 165108, Type No.18199).
Currently listed as a synonym of Entomobrya comparata Folsom, 1919: 13 A by Bellinger et al. (1996–2015).
