Holotype: 1 male (slide) USSR. Chukotka, Chaun Bay [68o44’N, 170o36’E], 13.viii.1977, soil sample, upland heath, S.F. MacLean (CNC 165046, Type No. 20114). Paratype: 1 juvenile (slide), same collection as holotype (CNC 165135, Type No.20112); 3 females (slide), same collection data except ix.1975, Loc. S–1 (CNC 165136, Type No.20113).

Listed as Micraphorura nataliae (Fjellberg, 1987) by Kaprus’ et al. (2002: 353), and as a representative of the genus Oligaphorura by Babenko & Fjellberg (2015: 57).
