British Columbia, China Beach [Provincial] Park [on the western coast of Vancouver Island (48o26’N, 124o06’W), 50 m above sea level, in soil samples from a 250–300-year-old western hemlock ( Tsuga heterophylla ) forest], 1975 [“24.ix.1974” in description], J. Rusek (CNC 348026, C 10 2a and CNC 348101, C10 5B).
