Holotype: 1 female (slide) USSR. Magadan Reg[ion], Aborigen, [field station, 67o57’N, 149o34’E], 27.vii.1979, under stones, alpine snow fields, A. Fjellberg (CNC 165043, Type No. 20102). Paratypes: 1 female and 1 juvenile (slide), as above, A. Fjellberg (CNC 165127, Type No. 20101).

Currently listed as Oligaphorura aborigensis (Fjellberg, 1987) by Bellinger et al. (1996–2015) and Babenko & Fjellberg (2015: 64).
