Diagnosis

Acmopolynema belongs to the Polynema group of genera; specimens can be distinguished from those of other genera by the following combination of features: female antenna with funicle six-segmented and clava entire: face without pits between toruli, propodeum with V-shaped submedian carinae, and petiole attached to gastral sternum.
