No specimens were collected in the regions sampled, but the species was recorded from the northern South American continent and Panama. Martarega williamsi is easily recognized by (1) the presence of one or two groups of short bristles near outer lateral margin and (2) two stripes extending onto hemelytra, one short and median longitudinal stripe and other along costal margin ( Figure 9 ).
