Type locality: Australia.

Additional distribution: Philipines, New Zealand; introduced in South Africa, Europe, and USA.

Host plants: Acacia baileyana , A. dealbata , A. podalyriifolia , and Samanea saman in Philippines.

Remarks: First recorded for California in 1987 ( Gill 1987).

Parasitoids: None specifically, but Psyllaephagus sp. are known from other Acizzia .
