Diagnosis. This species, very similar to S. convergens in the surstylus with 2 strong prensisetae basally and submedially, can be differentiated from it by having the basal prensisetae of surstyli strongly curved inward and interlaced reciprocally; dorsal lobe of gonopods short, as long as half of aedeagus ( Sidorenko, 1997, Figs. 15–16).
Specimens examined. 13 paratype (SEHU), Shennongjia, Hubei, 16.vii.1992, M.J. Toda; 13, Wuyisham, on the boundary between Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces, 14.vi.2004, H.-W. Chen. Distribution. China (Hubei, Fujian, Jiangxi).
