Distribution in Turkey. Kahramanmaraş ( Háva et al. 1998); Kırklareli ( Açar 2008); Eskişehir ( Altunsoy et al. 2017).

Remarks. Widely distributed Transpalaearctic species, known from Europe to Japan (Růžička 2015). Prefer large carrion, frequently also attracted to light, but less frequent in conventional pitfall traps ( Matuszewski et al. 2010; Pushkin 2015; J. Růžička, unpubl.). In Turkey, only known from three provinces: Eskişehir, Kahramanmaraş and Kırklareli. No recently collected specimens from Turkey were available for study.
