Material examined. Turkey: Ardahan: 5 males, 4 females, 2 km E Göle, 2040 m, 40°47.4'N / 042°38.5'E, 8.VII.2004, Jiří Hájek & Jan Růžička leg., wet meadow near river shores and dry ruderal habitats close to a junkyard, baited pitfall traps (fish meat) with ethylene glycol ( JRUC) GoogleMaps ; 1 female, 10 km S of Posof, Ilgardağı pass, 41°25.9'N / 042°44.5'E, 2540–2600 m, 5.–7.VII.2004, Jiří Hájek & Jan Růžička leg., steppe and pastures on SW slope, baited pitfall traps (fish meat) with ethylene glycol ( JRUC) GoogleMaps .

Distribution in Turkey. Ordu, Artvin ( Háva et al. 1998; Sikes & Venables 2013a, b).

Remarks. Widely distributed Palaearctic species, known from Europe to Eastern Siberia and Mongolia (Růžička 2015). In central Europe, common in open habitats (fields, grasslands), on both chernozem and fluvisol soils, much less frequent in forests ( Růžička 1994; Jakubec & Růžička 2012, 2015). In Turkey, sparse records are known from Ordu and Artvin Provinces in the Black Sea Region, and from the north-west of Eastern Anatolia Region ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 31–32 ). Here we provided the first record from Ardahan Province.
