1971 Paracypridea impar n. sp. —Krömmelbein & Weber, p. 31–32, pl. 5, fig. 20.

Diagnosis: A medium to large species of Paracypridea (carapace length around 1.4mm) with elongated egg-shaped lateral and dorsal outline. Greatest carapace height just in front of the middle. Rostrum quite strongly developed for the genus. Right valve with clearly convex ventral margin, left valve with fairly straight or slightly concave ventral margin. Shell surface without sculpture.

Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7792.

Paratypes: Not deposited.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.41mm, height 0.86mm, width 0.70mm.
