Material examined. Villa Jacur 4 (EWITA303-15): Villa Jacur, Susegana, Treviso , Italy, 03/05/2014, leg. Maurizio G. Paoletti. (One specimen).

Diagnosis. Small worms, 40–80 mm by 4–5 mm. Colour red-violet, paler on ventrum. Male pores on 15 small. Clitellum on ½29, 30–37 tubercles on 30–37. Nephridiopores aligned just above b. Two pairs of testes enclosed in 10 perioesophageal, and in 11 suboesophageal testis sacs. Vesicles in 9–12, those in 11 small, sometimes completely missing. Spermathecae five pairs, in 6/7–10/11.

Remarks. This small Octodrilus species shows same clitellar positions as Oc. transpadanus , however differs from it first of all in the presence of red-violet pigmentation and the aligned nephridial pores.
