TYPE:— CHINA. Chongqing, Chengkou, Ta-lin-hien, Sankenchou, 2500 m, 27 August 1895, Farges 1351 (lectotype designated here: P06392583 ; isolectotypes: K000739456 , KUN1230257 About KUN , P05556372 , P03042987 , P06392570 , P06392580 , P06392587 )
Notes: Specimens collected by Farges from Chongqing, Chengkou, were cited in the protologue by Franchet in 1896 with the collection number unmentioned. He designated Farges 1351 as the lectotype posteriorly ( Franchet 1897), but did not provide the institution in which the specimens were preserved. Eight duplicates of Farges 1351 have been traced from P, K, and KUN. P 06392583 is selected as the lectotype here since its morphology represents the most variation in the number of cauline leaves.
