Tagalis seminigra View in CoL has been recorded from Panama, Guyana, Venezuela, and Brazil ( Champion 1898; McAtee & Malloch 1923; Villiers 1943; Wygodzinsky 1949; Maldonado 1990; Gil-Santana 2007). Peck et al. (1998) recorded T. seminigra View in CoL on Santa Cruz island, Galápagos archipelago, Ecuador, as an introduced species. New record. Bolivia, Rurrenabaque.
Remarks. This is the first record of Tagalis Stål, 1860 from Bolivia. Material examined: BOLIVIA, 0 2 males, Rurrenabaque, Beni, 175m, X-1956, Dirings [? leg.] [MZUSP].
