Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 9; St. 36; St. 40.

Distribution: Widely distributed in the southwest Atlantic Ocean including MPA Namuncurá I ( Riemann-Zürneck 1975). It was also recorded by Pax (1922) in South Shetland Islands ( Antarctica).

Remarks: This species was previously cited as Choriactis laevis at Burdwood bank ( Riemann-Zürneck 1973).
