Holotype. Male ( CUIC), Chile, Santiago.

Distribution. Argentina: Buenos Aires Province (Buenos Aires). Chile: Región de Coquimbo: Choapa Province (Illapel); Región de Valparaíso: Valparaíso Province (Casablanca 12 km W); Región Metropolitana de Santiago: Santiago Province (Noviciado, Santiago 15 km N, Santiago 11 km SW); Región del Maule: Curicó Province (Curicó 3 km NE); Región del Bíobío: Biobío Province (Los Angeles, Mulchén 16 km N, Salto del Laja); Región de La Araucanía: Malleco Province (Marimenuco); Región de Los Ríos: Valdivia Province (Valdivia 20 km N).

Remarks. Knutson et al. (1976) cited this species as distributed in Aconcagua and Concepción provinces, without precise localities. Aconcagua has been split into Petorca, San Felipe de Aconcagua, and Los Andes provinces.
