Distribution. Locally in C Europe to the Ural Mountains, also known from the Baltic States and N. Italy. Outside Europe in S Siberia (Transbaikalia, Altai), Mongolia and China ( Li 1993a).

Remarks. This species is new to the European part of Russia. The species may be associated with Astragalus onobrychiella , as the plant was always present at the localities where the adults were collected.
