Distribution. Russia (S Ural), SE Kazakhstan.

Remarks. The species is described in part I of this issue (Junnilainen & K. Nupponen 2010). The species is reported as “ Athrips sp. n. (Junnilainen in litt.)” in a review of the genus Athrips in the Palaearctic region ( Bidzilya 2005b: 64).
