Type material. Syntype ♀, India: Uttarakhand, Dehradun (30°19′4.8″N & 78°1′44.4″E, 447m), ix.1907, Coll. Lt. Col. F.W. Thomson, I.M.S. GoogleMaps Syntype ♂, India: Himachal Pradesh, Kangra Valley (32°10′ N & 76°30′ E, 610m), vii.1889, Coll. Dudgeon. Repository? (Type specimens missing) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. Body length 15 mm, ovipositor sheath length 22 mm. Frons arcuate rugose; vertex distinctly transstriate with two short carinae; neck smooth, pronotum trans-striate with narrow smooth posterior margin; mesoscutum with large well separated punctures; metapleura cribrate punctate, separated by a carina; wings hyaline, strongly iridescent; hind coxa finely trans-striate; hind femora tridentate; first metasomal tergite trans-striate, as long as rest of metasomal tergites combined; ovipositor sheath half as long as body with a subapical pale ivory band.
Male. Placed with the female; slender, head finely striate; metapleura striate; colour of head testaceous while red in female.
Distribution. Oriental: India (Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand).
Host. Unknown.
