Additional material examined

New Zealand, the North Island, Auckland East coast, Upper Waitemata Harbour , Whau River , Te Atatu Boating Club Inc., on Ectopleura larynx (Ellis and Solander) growing on an immersed section of a rope (13 mm in diameter) dangling from the gangway between the wharf and pontoon, 38 specimens (lengths 5–21 mm) and spawn on 28 November 2000 (collected by Dr P. F. Jenkins) .
