Distribution. United States: Florida to eastern Texas and Oklahoma, north to New Jersey and Missouri ( Werner, 1990). The record from New Jersey is a single male, unambiguously assigned to S. hubbardi (Casey, 1895) . This locality is very surprising and the stable presence of the species in this region will need to be confirmed.
