Types. Holotype: Male, (IBSP 8625), São Domingos, Goiás, Brazil, A. Chagas Junior & M. G. Bichuette leg., IV. 2000. Paratype: Female (IBSP 9467), Serra da Mesa, Minaçú, Goiás, Brazil; Two males (IBSP 12505, MZSP 26536), São Domingos, Goiás, Brazil.
Etymology. named after the type-locality.
Diagnosis. Males may be distinguished from all other species by the bulb with a long embolus with a slight curvature subapically, where there is a small keel ( Figs. 26–28 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ). Females may be distinguished by the spermathecae formed by two long and thin receptacula, with small lobes over its entire length ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ).
Description. Male (Holotype). Total length: 18.1. Carapace: length 7.5; width 6.13. Eye tubercle: length 1.03; width 1.3. Labium: length 0.61; width 1.24. Sternum: length 3.38; width 3.06. Basal segment of chelicera with 8 teeth. Labium with 4 cuspules. Maxillae with 17–19 cuspules. Thoracic furrow straight, narrow. Palp: femur 4.41/ patella 2.97/ tibia 3.6/ cymbium 1.65/ total 12.63. Legs I: femur 7.37/ patella 4.43/ tibia 5.28/ metatarsus 5.67/ tarsus 3.26/ total 26.01. II: 6.78/ 3.78/ 5.02/ 5.02/ 3.06/ 23.66. III: 5.93/ 2.8/ 4.17/ 5.15/ 3.06/ 21.11. IV: 7.63/ 3.32/ 6.59/ 6.91/ 3.19/ 27.64. Retrolateral lobe of cymbium slightly larger than prolateral lobe. Palpal bulb with long embolus with keel on subterminal portion ( Figs. 26–28 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ). External branch of tibial spur enlarged apically and with spine inserted at its midlength, internal branch with spine inserted on its base ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ). Metatarsus I slightly curved, not touching tibial spur when flexed. Scopula on metatarsi: I entire, apical ¾ of II, apical half of III– IV. Legs covered by many long white setae. Carapace brown. Abdomen dark brown.
Female (Paratype IBSP 9467). Total length: 27.4. Carapace: length 11.06; width 9.01. Eye tubercle: length 1.37; width 1.83. Labium: length 0.89; width 1.88. Sternum: length 5.24; width 4.32. Basal segment of chelicera with 8 teeth. Labium with 3 cuspules. Maxilla with 14–18 cuspules. Thoracic furrow straight. Palp: femur 5.44/ patella 3.92/ tibia 3.25/ tarsus 3.86/ total 16.47. Legs I: femur 7.37/ patella 5.28/ tibia 5.35/ metatarsus 4.76/ tarsus 2.8/ total 25.56. II: 6.52/ 4.56/ 4.63/ 4.24/ 2.8/ 22.75. III: 6.26/ 3.98/ 4.24/ 4.96/ 2.87/ 22.31. IV: 7.83/ 4.63/ 6.33/ 6.78/ 3.26/ 28.83. Spines: Palp: femur (d) 0-0-p1, patella 0, tibia (v) 0-0-ap2, (p) 0-2-0; Legs: I: femur (d) 0-0-p1, patella 0, tibia (v) 1-1-ap1, (p) 0-1-0, metatarsus (v) 1-0-0; II: femur (d) 0-0- p1, patella 0, tibia (v) 0-1-p1, (p) 1-1-0, metatarsus (v) 0-1-0; III: femur (d) 0-2-2, patella 0, tibia (r) 1-1-0, (v) 0-p1-ap2, (p)1-1-0, metatarsus (r) 0-1-1, (v) 2-0-ap3, (p) 1-1-1; IV: femur (d) 0-0-r1, patella 0, tibia (r) 0-0-1, (v) 0-p1-ap2, metatarsus (r) 0-1-1, (v) 1-p1-ap3, (p) 0-1-1. Spermathecae paired, receptaculum very long, with small lobes over its entire length ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ). Long white setae covering legs. Coloration as in male.
