DiagNosis. This new species can be easily distinguished in the male genitalia by the membranous gnathos hardly visible and the narrowed sclerotized dorsal band of the sacculus free in distal half.

DescriptioN. Adult ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 2−9 ) wingspan 7.0−10.0 mm. Head with vertex shining white, frons shining gray, occiput pale ochreous brown. Labial palpus with first and second segments dark brown; third segment with basal 2/5 white, distal 3/5 black, as long as second. Antenna with scape white; flagellum with dorsal surface white on basal 3/4 and white ringed with black on distal 1/4, ventral surface dark brown and ciliate. Thorax, tegula and forewing dark ochreous brown. Forewing with white speckles edged with black scales: basal fascia slender, extending obliquely from base of costa outward to dorsum; antemedian fascia wider, extending from before basal 1/3 of costa obliquely outward to basal 3/5 of dorsum, widened anteriorly; costal spot elliptical, large, extending from basal 3/4 of costa to lower angle of cell; tornal spot represented by sparsely diffused grayish brown scales; cilia grayish black along distal part of costal margin, white around apex, grayish yellow mixed with black along dorsal margin. Hindwing and cilia deep gray. Fore- and midlegs black, tibia with white tuft of long white hairs at apex, tarsus white at apex of each tarsomere on dorsal surface; hindleg yellow on ventral surface, gray on dorsal surface, tarsus white at apex of each tarsomere.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10−15 ). Uncus sub-rectangular, slightly wider basally; apex concave inward at middle semicircularly, forming short digitate posterolateral lobes. Gnathos membranous, indistinct. Tegumen divided from middle, uniform in width anteriorly. Valva rectangular; costa narrow at base, widened to rounded apex, with a few tiny apical spines; sacculus wide at base, narrowed to 3/5, again widened and setose to rounded apex, with a sclerotized dorsal band, its basal 3/5 wide, arched and sinuate along dorsal margin, its distal 2/5 separated from sacculus, slender and free. Saccus wide at base, gradually narrowed to basal 3/4; distal 1/4 digitate, rounded at apex; more than twice length of uncus. Juxta lobes separated from base, large sub-elliptical; basal lobe reaching basal 1/4 of saccus. Aedeagus slender, approximately twice length of valva; cornutus very thin, weak, slightly shorter than aedeagus.

Female genitalia ( Fig.18 View FIGURES 16−23 ): Apophyses anteriores about half length of apophyses posteriores. Lamella postvaginalis heavily sclerotized, sub-rectangular, straight on posterior margin, triangularly produced posterolaterally, with two ridges from posterolateral corner extending inward to anterior margin of ostium bursae, forming a V-pattern. Ostium bursae small and rounded. Ductus bursae membranous, slender, basal 1/3 sclerotized, distal 2/3 membranous; ductus seminalis arising from before distal end of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae elongate, sub-rectangular, longer than ductus bursae; with two elongate elliptical signa, each as long as 1/3 length of corpus bursae, bearing short spines, placed anteriorly.

DistributioN. China (Jiangxi, Taiwan, Zhejiang).

Etymology. The species epithet is from the Latin dors- and separatus, referring to the dorsal band of the sacculus separated distally in the male genitalia.
