Type material. BMNH.

Ecology. Unknown.

Distribution. Endemic to the Solomon Islands. Yet recorded only from Guadalcanal ( Fig. 13 ). Exact position of ‘Popanu’ on Guadalcanal, the type locality, cannot be identified.
