The unistriatella species group
This new species group is based primarily on the forewing pattern of member species. It is circumscribed for taxonomic convenience only and does not necessarily reflect phylogenetic relationships of the included species, which remain unassessed for the genus as a whole.
Members of the unistriatella species group share the following characters: the forewing has a white (Figs 1, 3–7) or a dark (Fig. 2) antemedian fascia, and is usually covered with dense dark grey scales from distal 1/3 to 2/5; the male genitalia have a single or a bilobed uncus, and usually a reduced gnathos; and the female genitalia have a developed lamella postvaginalis and a single or paired signa.
The unistriatella species group includes five previously described species: P. unistriatella Lvovsky, 2000 from Indonesia, P. uncignatha Du, Li et Wang, 2011 from China (Hainan), P. quadrilobata Wang, 2018 and P. flavidius Kim, 2018 from Cambodia, and P. heppneri Kim et Park, 2010 from Vietnam. The following seven new species are also included in this group.
