Distribution. Northwestern and central Europe. Portugal: five northernmost provinces.

Ecology. Seeps, waterfalls and open water in deciduous forests, from sea level to 1,100 m, which corresponds with its habitat preference in northwestern Europe.

Rarity (%). 11.5 (common). Common (FL).
