Number of specimens recorded. 5.

Distribution. Restricted to the western part of Europe (from Denmark to Portugal). Portugal: two northern coastal provinces in this study and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. In Portugal most specimens of this species were encountered in a sandy spit at the mouth of the river Douro, though very disturbed by human activity and exotic vegetation. In northwestern Europe, it is restricted to saltmarshes, and adjacent wet coastal dunes ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 2.3 (rare). Extremely rare (FL).

Activity period. August–September.
