Description. Male genitalia: Pygophore elongate. Subgenital plate elongate. Connective stem similar in length to arms. Aedeagal shaft with a slight elongate flange on each side of dorsal surface; apical process with length similar to length of shaft.
Diagnosis. This species is similar to P. alboguttulatus but the aedeagal process is longer.
Remarks. This species was described from Korea by Kwon & Lee (1979). Subsequently, Li & Wang (2005) described M. albiguttatis from Henan of China, based on one male and four female specimens that are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, China. From examination of type specimens and comparison of the original descriptions and illustrations, it is clear that both species are synonyms. In addition, the species figured by Anufriev and Emeljanov (1988) of Mimotettix kawamurae Matusumura from the Russian Far East is also this species.
Distribution. China (Hunan, Hainan, Hubei, Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, Guizhou, Taiwan), Japan, Korea, Russia ( Fig.17 View FIGURE 17 ).
