Material. Tavush: Dilijan , forest, 27.05.1973, S. Mirzoian leg. ; Kotayk: Tsaghkadzor , 17.06.1978, S. Iablokoff-Khnzorian leg. ; Arzakan , 27.05.1973, M. Mardjanian leg.
Distribution. British Islands, Europe including Scandinavian and Baltic countries, Belarus, Ukraine, European Russia, Asian Turkey; introduced to Nearctic Region ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Stark (1952) from Caucasus and by Arnoldi et al. (1955) and Nikitsky & Izhevsky (2005) also from Transcaucasia without country data. Armenia: reported by Avetyan (1952) from Dilijan (Tavush Province), by Mirzoian (1954) from Lori (Vanadzor, Stepanavan) and Tavush (Dilijan, Ijevan) provinces, by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1961) without distribution data and later ( Iablokoff-Khnzorian 1976) as distributed in all wet forests of North Armenia.
Hosts. Quercus , Carpinus, Pyrus , Crataegus .
