Material. Tavush: Ijevan , forest, 11.06.1949, S. Iablokoff-Khnzorian leg.
Distribution. Great Britain, Central and South Europe, Scandinavian and Baltic countries, Belarus, Ukraine, European Russia, “Caucasus”, Azerbaijan, Asian Turkey, Iran, Siberia, Russian Far East, Mongolia, Korea, China, Japan ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Stark (1952) and Arnoldi et al. (1955) from Caucasus, by Nikitsky & Izhevsky (2005) also from Transcaucasia without contry data. Armenia: reported by Mirzoian (1954) from Lori (Vanadzor, Stepanavan) and Tavush (Dilijan, Ijevan) Provinces, by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1957, 1976) and Mirzoian (1977) as distributed everywhere in forest belt.
Hosts. Quercus as well as other deciduous tree species.
