Material. Tavush: Syunik: Tsav , 30.07.1952, S. Iablokoff Khnzorian leg. (4 ex.) .
Distribution. Great Britain, Central and South Europe, Scandinavia, Latvia, Moldavia, Ukraine, South European Russia, North Africa, Israel, Lebanon, Asian Turkey, Iran, introduced to Japan and Neotropical Region ( Knížek 2011b, as H. toranio D’Anthoine, 1788 ; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Nikitsky & Izhevsky (2005) from Caucasus and Trancaucasia without country data. Armenia: reported as H. oleiperda ( Fabricius, 1792) by Mirzoian (1954) from Syunik Province (Tsav, Shgharjik), by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1961) without distribution data, later by him ( Iablokoff-Khnzorian 1976) from Syunik Province, and by Mirzoian (1977) also from North Armenia.
