Avagian leg.; Kotayk: Jrvezh , 04.05.1952, S. Iablokoff-Khnzorian leg. ; ~ 5 km E Gokht, Geghard monastery, 16.08.1948, S. Iablokoff-Khnzorian leg. ; Syunik: Meghri , on apple tree, 14.09.1950, H. Avetian leg.
Distribution. France, Italy (Sicilia), Spain, South European Russia, Algeria, Asian Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); as S. fasciatus reported by Stark (1952) from Caucasus and Arnoldi et al. (1955) also from Transcaucasia without country data. Armenia: as S. fasciatus reported by Zaitzev (1950) (“described from Ordubad, found in Armenia ”) and Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1961) without distribution data, by Mirzoian (1954) from Yerevan and later ( Mirzoian 1977) also from Meghri (Syunik Province) and by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1976) from Arax River Valley. As S. kirschii kirschii Skalitzky, 1876 reported by Petrov (2013) from all three Transcaucasian countries without distribution data.
