TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, Western Australia, Swan River .

DISTRIBUTION: Formerly in Western Australia, South Australia, Northern Territory, W New South Wales, SW Queensland. Survives only in SW Queensland, Northern Territory / Western Australia border region and Kimberleys.

STATUS: CITES - Appendix I; U.S. ESA and IUCN - Endangered.

SYNONYMS: cambrica, grandis, interjecta, nigripes, sagitta.
