Lemidia circumcincta Schenkling
Lemidia circumcincta Schenkling, 1906: 302 ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ). Lemidia mastersi Lea, 1907: 352 syn. n. ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ).
Material examined. Lemidia circumcincta Schenkling : LECTOTYPE (here designated): Kuranda Qld F.P. Dodd / Schenkling det. ( SDEI). PARALECTOTYPES (here designated) (6): Kuranda Qld F.P. Dodd / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI); Kuranda F.P. Dodd / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI); Kuranda Aug 0 4 F. P. Dodd / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI); Kuranda July 0 4 F. P. Dodd / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI); Kuranda F. P. Dodd Feb. 0 4 / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI); Kuranda F. P. Dodd Mch. 0 4 / Schenkling det. (1, SDEI). Lemidia mastersi Lea : LECTOTYPE (here designated): the middle of three specimens on a card labelled "Qd" ( SAMA). PARALECTOTYPES (here designated) (6): the two specimens flanking the lectotype (2, SAMA); two specimens from Cairns (2, ANIC); two specimens from Kuranda (2, NMV).
Remarks. The primary types of Lemidia circumcinta Schenkling and L. mastersi Lea differ only in the size of the roundish preapical macula. The elytral maculation of paralectotypes glued to the same card mount as the L. mastersi lectotype show comparable degrees of variation.
