Records from Iran: Kerman Province – Asadi (2010).

Habitat: Hyporheobiont. Asadi (2010) mentioned ponds as habitat for S. latipes , but this must be erroneous, as this species lives in streams.

Distribution: Central, southern and south-eastern Europe.
