According to ZERCHE (1990), the species has a trans-Adriatic distribution. For the Balkans, he lists records only from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Hence, the specimen from the Oros Arénes, which was compared with male type specimens (NHMW), represents the first record from Greece.
