Key for the species of Sinchocoris , modified from Dougherty (1995)

1. Ratio of visible labial segments: 5:3:1; ventral margin of middle femora with papillae at basal portion ( Figs. 9 , 13 ); spongy fossa of fore and middle tibiae moderately developed, at least one-quarter the length of fore tibiae..................... 2

- Ratio of visible labial segments: 2:2:1; ventral margin of middle femora without papillae; spongy fossa of fore and middle tibiae very small, approximately 1/12 times the length of fore tibiae ( Fig. 22 ).............................. giupponii sp. nov.

2. Total length less than 8.0 mm; fore femora with dense, elongate pubescence; middle femora with scattered numerous setae, without forming a ventral fringe ( Figs. 8–9 )......................................... colombiensis Dougherty, 1995
