Amrasca (Quartasca) curvata View in CoL n. sp.
( Figures 10 View FIGURE 10 A–L)
Description. Length of male 2.6 mm. Ground color pale yellow, crown with conspicuous pair of black preapical spots; pronotum and mesonotum each with median anterior white spot and pair of lateral white spots; forewing with small brown spot in inner anteapical cell, remainder pale hyaline except for diffuse yellow longitudinal band along commissure.
Hind tibia formula PD:AD:AV 10:9:4.
Male 2S apodemes well separated at base, enclosing ovoid area, extended slightly beyond posterior margin of sternite III, apices rounded. Male pygofer apex triangular with oblique preapical row of setae submedially in addition to posterodorsal setal row, basolateral setae absent; ventral appendage very slender and nearly straight in lateral view, apex evenly tapered, needle-like and extended well beyond lobe apex, curved slightly laterad in ventral view. Anal hook very short, slender, curved anteromesad with blunt apex. Pregenital sternite with posterior margin truncate with small v-shaped median notch. Subgenital plate approximately 1.5X longer than pygofer, gradually broadened from base to distal third in lateral view, then dorsal margin tapered to narrowly rounded apex; setal group A consisting of few very fine, inconspicuous setae near base; group B setae very small and scattered; group C with 11–12 macrosetae in double row basally narrowing to single row distally; group D with single dorsal row of long, fine setae extended from distal fourth around apex and continuing along ventral margin to midength; Style apophysis evenly curved and tapered to acuminate apex, with few preapical lateral setae and 7–8 small preapical teeth posteromesally. Connective arms widely divergent, slightly longer than stem. Aedeagus with preatrium approximately twice as long as shaft; shaft very short and slender, base in lateral view forming obtuse angle with preatrium; shaft tubular, evenly curved dorsad, slightly tapered to blunt apex in posterior view.
Etymology. The species name, a Latin adjective, refers to the distally curved pygofer appendage.

Notes. This species resembles the type species of the subgenus, A. (Q.) czerwcowa (Dworakowska) , in coloration but differs in having a pair of conspicuous black spots on the crown and in the male genitalia, including the more elongate and laterally curved pygofer appendage, the short, slender anal hook, and the very short and slender aedeagal shaft. The 3S apodemes also have a different shape.
