TYPE LOCALITY. — [French Guiana] Guyana gall.

TYPE SPECIMEN. — Lectotype female designated by Rothschild (1910a: 54) ( BMNH).

REMARK

The type locality coulb be an error because this species is endemic of the South East Brazil from where it probably originated.

NON AVAILABLE MANUSCRIPT NAME

One female specimen labeled “ Amastus elius Weym[er] S[an]t[a] Cath[arina]” and Type HT, is housed in BMNH close to the holotype of Romualdia chimaera . It is probably a manuscript name.
